Community Social Outings Program – Bus Trips

What is this service?
Community Social Outings is a service for older and frail aged people and those with moderate to severe disabilities who live alone and are socially isolated. This service provides an opportunity to meet people and make new friends.

Do I need this service?
If you are looking for an opportunity to get out of the house and socialise with people in a similar situation to you, the Community Social Outings program could help.

Is there a limit to the assistance available?
Yes, the social outings are limited to one a month. A maximum of 15 people can attend any one outing.

Will this service cost me money?
A financial contribution is expected for this service. However, you will not be refused this service if you are unable to pay for it.

In what area is this service available?
This service is available for those who live in the Bankstown and Auburn local government areas.
